The Eling Experience    Wednesday to Sunday every week, 10.00am to 4.00pm at Eling Tide Mill.
The Eling Experience is a great half day tourist attraction. Eling Creek is, situated at the head of Southampton Water, where you can see tidal power used to mill flour on a daily basis.
Just over the road from the Mill is the Totton & Eling Heritage Centre, which shows the history of the area from Bronze Age days to the present day. You can even sit in an air raid shelter and experience the sound of bombs dropping all around you.
All around the area are interesting historical and ecological walks with views over the water and there is a new pirate play ship in the picnic area.
Eling Church is also well worth a visit being one of the oldest in the New Forest.
You can finish your visit off with a snack and drink at the Eling Creek Tea Rooms with its excellent new and exciting menu.

Pre-School Skills Classes to help prepare your child for School    Classes take place during Term-time weekday afternoons, 1.15 - 2.45pm
The aim of Skills for School is to focus on teaching children the key skills that will help them to experience a smooth transition from their pre-school education to the wider school environment.
We provide fun and enjoyable structured activities that are planned carefully to focus on these key skills which are: language and communication, literacy with a focus on story telling and phonics and number & shape recognition.
We aim to make sure that children have the basic social, emotional, listening and concentration skills that they need in order to learn and thrive at school.
Children need to attend one session a week which lasts for 1 and a half hours (term time only).
Each session is £10. There are a maximum of 4 children per session.
We teach children the year before they start school and aim only to complement the existing pre-school education that they are having rather than trying to replace it.
We are based in the Winchester area; just a mile from the city centre. We are happy to teach children from both inside and outside of Winchester.
We hold an 'Introductory Open Day' at the beginning of September. This is an opportunity for parents/guardians to meet Sara and for the children to participate in a selection of activities that will form part of the curriculum during the academic year.
